An investigation is underway after a police officer was accused of physically abusing and threatening a child.
Police said the incident occurred on Friday in an island in the South Central region during a fight at a children's futsal match.
Among the children playing on the field was a child belonging to the family of the policeman accused of assaulting and threatening another child.
Police said a criminal investigation was ongoing, while the Professional Standards Command is also conducting a separate investigation.
