Odi Sports Club has become the champions of the Milo Svam Juniors tournament organized by the Soccer Veterans Association of Maldives (SVAM) in memory of the late coach Ihsan Abdul Ghani (Santhi).
Odi faced BG Academy in the final of the four-day tournament held at Henveiru Stadium in Male'. Odi won the match 1-0. This is the first victory for Odi since Fareed Mohamed (Faritte)'s coaching team took over.
In the playoff for the third-placed winner, Friend Football Family Academy - Rathafa defeated Adventures 1-0.
In the semi-final, BG Academy defeated Adventures while Odi defeated Rathafa.

Twenty-eight teams from 18 academies took part in the tournament. Each team had 18 members under the age of eight. SVAM said about 500 children participated.
SVAM holds tournaments in three or four age groups each year. The Milo Svam Juniors is a tournament for the youngest age group to celebrate the many contributions of Santhi to football.
The academies that joined the tournament are Maziya Football Academy, Club Valencia, Aspire Academy, Odi Sports Academy, BG Academy, Bis Buru Sports Academy, Friend Football Family Academy, Hulhumale' Sports School, Phase Two Soccer Academy, Eydhafushi Football Academy, United Victory, Adventures Football Academy, The Stars Academy, Dhangethi Football Academy, Villimale United, SUS Academy, Ashfaq Academy and Maldives Soccer Mates (MSM).
