A foreign teacher at Thaa Kandoodhoo School has allegedly assaulted a student and injured his finger.
The case was reported to the police but the teacher has not been arrested yet. The injured student was provided medical assistance.
Police said they were investigating the case but did not say why no arrests had been made.
Several similar cases surfaced recently, including an assault on a student who had undergone brain surgery.
An autistic child was also assaulted during a therapy session. Two foreign workers were arrested in connection with the case.
