A man has been arrested for smuggling drugs through DHL courier service.
The 24-year-old man was arrested and remanded in custody on Thursday for bringing a parcel containing drugs through DHL. He was remanded in custody for 30 days.
He was arrested when he went to collect the parcel containing drugs. Police confirmed that the parcel containing the drugs belonged to him because his phone number matched the contact number listed on the package.
According to the arrest warrant, the tracking number of the package was also noted on his phone and he refused to provide a urine sample when arrested.
