A woman has been arrested for spitting in various places inside the Velana International Airport (VIA).
The Chinese woman was arrested and taken into custody, the police said.
The woman caused a nuisance, yelling, spitting and disturbing others, according to the police.
"As she was committing acts such as yelling in a manner that disturbs other people and spitting in places, she has been taken under police custody," the police said.
The police did not provide further details about the woman. The reason for her behavior also remains unclear.
