The project to build 400 housing units in Fuvahmulah has been awarded to PT Citramas Heavy Industries in JV with Flexinc Pvt Ltd. for MVR 469 million.
The government awarded the contract for the construction of 400 housing units in Fuvahmulah at a cost of MVR 469 million from the PSIP budget, with a completion date of 540 days. The project agreement was signed on Monday and the deadline for completion is January 28, 2025.
According to the Housing Ministry, 1,000 square feet flats will be built under the project, with three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a living room, kitchen, dining room, laundry and store room.
The 11-storey buildings will have two elevators. The lowest floor will be used for commercial and maintenance offices as well, where each apartment will be given a bicycle parking space.
