Maldive Gas hikes prices for 45kg and 22kg cylinders

State-owned Maldive Gas has increased prices for 45kg and 22kg gas cylinders, effective immediately. Refills for 45kg cylinders rose by MVR 175.50, while 22kg refills increased by MVR 60. The government has not yet provided a reason for the price hike, though issuance of some new cylinder sizes has been suspended.
