The police have sought charges against three people arrested from Male' during an anti-terrorism operation on March 10.
The Prosecutor General's (PG) office spokesperson Ahmed Shafeeu told Adhadhu that a decision on pressing charges would be made on July 7.
He said details of the case would be given at the time of the decision.
Adhadhu understands that the duty prosecution took a long time to decide whether to seek charges against the three suspects who remain in custody.
Police have not disclosed their profiles or any details of the anti-terror operation.
A police press conference to brief the media about the operation scheduled for Tuesday has been postponed to a later date.
