The People's Majlis ended its sitting today in just 30 minutes.
The agenda included the appointment of ambassadors and four questions from Galolhu North MP Mohamed Ibrahim (Kudu) to Economic Minister Mohamed Saeed.
The sitting began at around 10:30 am, and the vote bell rang 20 minutes later. It ended at 11:00 am.
A vote was taken to approve the names of the non-resident ambassadors to Russia and Morocco. Fifty-seven MPs, or 61 percent of MPs, participated in the vote.
This was the first parliament sitting since Ramadan began on Saturday. Ruling party MPs tried to close the parliament for Ramadan but withdrew the proposal due to public criticism.
