Recipients of flats and land plots allocated by the former government have started protesting on the streets of Male'.
The government said the flat list will be reviewed and announced before the end of this month.
The protesters say that the handover of the flats and land has been delayed and have called on the government to complete it as soon as possible.

MPs of the opposition Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) are also taking part in the protest.
Protesters carrying boards with various slogans are walking along the streets of Male'.
They have previously held protest gatherings, but this is the first time that the protestors decided to march through the streets.
