Male', Maldives (August 13) - Spanish coach Oscar Bruzon expressed that he will always take pride in the success he achieved with New Radiant Sports Club in the Dhivehi Premier league.
Oscar coached New Radiant SC from mid-June 2017 to August 2018.
During his first season with the team, he led them to victory in the Dhivehi Premier League, FA Cup, and President’s Cup. In the following season, he guided them to win the STO Male' League title.
Oscar recently departed from Bangladesh champions Bashundhara Kings after a six-year tenure at the club.
In a recent interview, he reflected on his coaching career in South Asia, where he won 14 titles over nearly 15 years.
"I would highlight this year's treble and our participation in the Champions League, which feels like a title to me. I would also emphasize the league title we won in the Maldives, which was my first national title as a coach," stated Oscar, the tactician from Vigo, Spain.
Oscar, who coached the Bangladesh National Team during the 2021 SAFF Championship, mentioned that he is interested in exploring new opportunities.
While he acknowledged that financial terms in other markets, such as those in Asia, might be less favorable, he is currently motivated by challenges rather than financial incentives. He expressed openness to various possibilities, including a potential return to European football.
