Maldives Immigration has decided to deport a group of expatriates who were arrested for violence in Male' last week.
The authority said six people were arrested by the police on Wednesday. Their visas will be cancelled and they will be deported under the Immigration Act.
Immigration publicised a photo of the six expatriates. They are all from Bangladesh and between the ages of 26 and 40.
Two people were injured in the fight and were released after receiving treatment at the Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).
A video of the fight has been posted on social media, showing people attacking each other with wooden planks.
