A foreigner has died on a fishing boat from Gaaf Alif Villingili.
Police said the deceased was a 35-year-old Bangladeshi man.
The man was taken to Gaaf Alif Dhaandhoo health center in critical condition at 12:25 am. Police said the incident was reported at that time.
"He was pronounced dead upon arrival at the health center," police said in a message to media.
Police said further investigations were underway but did not say why the deceased was in critical condition or whether he had any injuries.
