STO Group has donated MVR 1 million to the fund set up to help those affected by Israeli attacks on Palestine.
Thousands of Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks which began on October 7 with thousands more wounded.
STO, MIFCO, Allied Insurance, Maldives Gas, MSS and FSM participated in the donation.
The money was donated to the "We are with Palestine" telethon on behalf of the companies' employees and shareholders.
Maldives has always stood with the Palestinian people and advocated for the independence of Palestine.
