STO earned MVR 15.5 billion in revenue in 2025

The State Trading Organisation (STO) posted a total revenue of MVR 15.5 billion last year, according to the company's financial statements.

The company's revenue for 2025 increased by MVR 98 million compared to 2024. Profits have also increased along with revenue.

STO posted a profit of MVR 910 million before tax and a profit of MVR 762 million after tax. This is a three percent increase compared to 2024.

The company posted revenue of MVR 4.1 billion in the last three months of 2025. This is an eight percent increase over the third quarter of 2024.

The company said the increase was due to improved business in all areas. Oil revenue rose four percent, while other revenue rose 19 percent.

STO posted a total profit of MVR 671 million in the last quarter alone. Of this, MVR 322 million is operating profit.
