A young boy who fell from a Hiya flat in Hulhumale' has passed away.
The police confirmed the death of the 15-year-old boy.
The boy fell from the 12th floor of the Hiya flats tower six around midnight on Sunday and sustained serious injuries to the head and other organs.
"He first fell and hit a car's bonnet. The bonnet was bent," an eyewitness said.
The boy died at the Hulhumale' hospital.
The reason for the fall is unclear. A police investigation is underway.
