A total of 227 bullets of drugs were hidden inside the bodies of four Pakistani nationals detained on May 31, the police have said.
The woman and three men were stopped at the airport after customs officials found them suspicious.
Scans done at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) showed drugs hidden in their bodies.
They were taken to the Dhoonidhoo medical clinic to empty their bowels and police said 2.9 kilos of drugs were found in 227 bullets.
Criminal court has remanded them for 30 days and the warrant states that all four have confessed to drug smuggling.
Several Pakistani people have been detained previously for smuggling and trafficking drugs. On April 14, five kilos of drugs were seized at the airport from a Pakistani national.
Some 100 kilos of drugs and several Pakistani nationals were arrested earlier for attempting to smuggle by a sea boat.
