A 16-year-old boy was killed when a speeding motorcycle went out of control near the bridge traffic light in Male'.

Police said a 19-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy were injured in the accident.

The 16-year-old died while being treated at the hospital. The 19-year-old man who drove the vehicle did not have a license.

According to the latest police statistics, 38 accidents were reported in Male' last week, with 11 accidents reported in a single day.
