Waste Management Corporation (WAMCO) Deputy Managing Director Shaheed Ibrahim has been dismissed.
While the Privatisation and Corporatisation Board (PCB) has yet to make an official announcement, reliable sources told Adhadhu that Shaheed received his dismissal letter earlier today.
Shaheed's termination has been confirmed, but the reason for his dismissal remains unclear. His tenure at WAMCO lasted less than a year, as he was appointed to the position in late April this year.
Shaheed previously served in the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) for 17 years. He is also a member of the Progressive National Congress (PNC) senate and serves as the party’s president for the Gemanafushi constituency
