iPhone Duo has been officially launched in the Maldivian market, coinciding with the release of Apple’s first foldable phone in the United States.

This marks the first time a cutting-edge global technological product has been made available to Maldivian customers on the same day as its U.S. market debut.

In a historic shift for the Maldivian electronics market, the official sale of the iPhone Duo was launched yesterday by Ell Studio, a prominent retailer of Apple products in the country.

While Maldivian consumers previously faced long waits for new international product releases, this launch opens the door for locals to experience the latest technology simultaneously with major global markets.

Ell Studio is the first Apple Mono Store to open in the Maldives and serves as an official Apple Authorized Reseller.

As a result, customers will benefit from full Apple warranties, official product support, and direct access to certified customer care services when making their purchases.

Ell Studio stated that the first sales were dedicated to customers who had placed pre-orders.

"We are seeing excellent demand. Due to the high volume of interest, we have already placed orders for an additional shipment," said the manager of Ell Studio.

He further noted that it was a big achievement to ensure Maldivian customers could access the iPhone Duo on the same day as the rest of the world.
