Two individuals suspected of engaging in an indecent act on a Hiyaa Tower balcony on August 27 have been arrested.

Police confirmed the arrest of a 36-year-old Maldivian man and a 25-year-old Maldivian woman in connection with the case. Both individuals have been ordered to be detained for five days.

Authorities launched an investigation into the matter after a video of the incident began circulating on social media. Since then, police have been working to identify the apartment and the individuals involved.

The police stated that the investigation is ongoing. No further details regarding the case or the identities of the suspects have been disclosed at this time.
