Over 30 students hospitalized in Addu City due to food poisoning

A large number of students participating in a camp at Feydhoo School in Addu City have been hospitalized following a suspected case of food poisoning.

According to information received by Adhadhu, 31 students are currently receiving medical treatment.

Among them, 12 students are being treated at the Maradhoo Health Center, while another 12 are at the Feydhoo Health Center. The remaining seven students are receiving care at the Addu Equatorial Hospital.

The specific food item that caused the poisoning has not yet been identified. However, Adhadhu understands that the condition of all students is currently improving.
