Maldivian Young rider Anoof announced his arrival in Maldivian motorsport with a remarkable debut victory in Laamu Atoll, ending a dominant five-to-six-year winning streak held by veteran team Unsalted Racing.
Competing against an experienced grid of established superbike riders, Anoof entered the event with limited formal racing experience. Despite the significant gap in experience, he delivered a standout performance, combining determination, natural riding ability and composure to secure his first-ever championship victory.

From a 150cc Motorcycle to a 207-Horsepower Superbike

Just five months before the championship event, Anoof was riding a 150cc motorcycle. For the Laamu Atoll competition, he stepped up to a heavily tuned 1200cc Ducati Panigale V4S, producing an impressive 207 wheel horsepower.
The transition from a smaller motorcycle to a high-powered superbike presented a major technical and physical challenge. However, Anoof adapted rapidly, demonstrating the confidence and control required to handle the power and demands of the Ducati on the race circuit.
