Police have refused to listen to the Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) legal team's concerns over demonstrators arrested from the October 3 rally.
The legal team went to the police station on Sunday night and left after an hour when no police officials agreed to meet and listen to their concerns.
"We came here tonight to clarify some information and share our concern about the health condition of the detainees," lawyer Ahmed Mauroof told reporters.
He said two of the detainees have a chronic illness while Maafushi Council President Hassan Solah's finger was broken during the arrest.
But he expressed concern as medical treatment for Solah was delayed by the police.

Addu City Councillor Hassan Zareer and Mohamed Khalif were also arrested from the rally. But Zareer was released without a remand hearing while Khalif was released on condition that he cooperate with the investigation.
The MDP legal team said it would submit their concerns to the Human Rights Commission of the Maldives (HRCM).
Thousands of people flooded the Artificial Beach in Male' on October 3 and tried to peacefully march along Majeedhee Magu. But riot police used pepper spray and sonic weapons against the demonstrators.
