Male' Maldives: Defending champions Maziya Sports & Recreation climbed to the top of the Dhiraagu Dhivehi Premier League standings with a commanding 3–0 victory over Buru Sports Club, while United Victory’s 17-year-old forward Hussain Suhadh Suhan made league history by netting a hat-trick in just 10 minutes against TC Sports Club.
Suhadh, etched his name into the league’s record books by scoring a blistering 10-minute hat-trick, becoming the youngest player to do so since the league’s rebranding in 2015.
In the early stages of the match between United Victory and TC Sports Club, it was TC who struck first. Ahmed Rilwan (Ben) gave them the lead just before halftime in the 44th minute. But the second half belonged entirely to UV, and more specifically, to a teenager from L. Maavah.

Suhadh, making just his second start, delivered a performance of rare maturity and explosive impact. Before celebtrating his 18th birthday this month, the young forward turned the game on its head with three goals in quick succession, showcasing pace, awareness, and clinical finishing. His hat-trick, completed within just 10 minutes, not only secured the result but also carved out a historic personal milestone.
UV's fourth goal came from a stunning free-kick by Ish Aafu Mohamed Firag, rounding off a commanding 4–1 comeback win, their first victory of the season, lifting them to fifth place in the standings.
Maziya stamped their authority over Buru Sports Club, dominating from the outset. Their opener came in the 33rd minute through Hamza Mohamed (Hampu), who was perfectly set up by a clever pass from Naiz Hassan (Dhaadhu) before finishing into the top corner.
Dhaadhu, continuing his fine form, doubled the lead just before the break with a precise low strike from the edge of the box. The result was sealed in the second half when Aisam Ibrahim bent in a free-kick that evaded everyone in the box and nestled into the far corner.
With this result, Maziya now lead the standings with 9 points from 3 matches, having played one game more than both Odi Sports Club and New Radiant SC, who sit second and third respectively with 6 points from two games each.
