Police have seized mobile phones from five people and clothing from one person in connection with murder of 65-year-old Abdul Rahman Adam in Alif Alif Maalhos on 12 July.
Police searched three houses before seizing the belongings. One of the houses is located on the same street as Abdul Rahman's house.
"One person's laptop and what he wears to go to the office [clothes] were taken away. Three houses were searched and five people's phones were confiscated," a source said.
The source added that the belongings were seized with a court warrant.
Police have not yet released any updates on Abdul Rahman's murder investigation and no suspects have been taken into custody.
