President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha Mohamed will be undertaking a state visit to Singapore today.
The visit is being made at the invitation of the President of Singapore Tharman Shanmugaratnam. The visit will take place from 29 June 29th to 2 July.
Muizzu is scheduled to meet Shanmugaratnam, Prime Minister Lawrence Wong and Singaporean cabinet ministers to discuss mutually beneficial prospects.
He will also attend a business forum, sign MoUs between the two countries and meet the Maldivian community residing in Singapore.
The President's Office said the visit is expected to foster the ties between the two countries into the future.
Diplomatic relations between the Maldives and Singapore were established on February 20, 1975.
