Malé, Maldives: Hussain Raushaan, the newly elected Vice President of Revival Sports, is eager to take his exceptional contributions to sports to new heights in his new role within the organization.
Raushaan is also the Vice President of the International Carrom Federation, making him the youngest person to ever hold this prestigious position.
He has served as the General Secretary of the Carrom Association of Maldives since 2020. His impressive track record includes representing the Maldives at the 61st and 62nd International Sessions for Young Olympic Ambassadors, organized by the International Olympic Academy.
Revival Sports expressed confidence in Raushaan’s leadership, stating, "With his extensive experience and expertise, both locally and internationally, we are confident that the club will flourish and reach new milestones under his guidance."
In an interview with Adhadhu Sports, Raushaan shared that while he was initially invited to be part of Revival’s journey at its inception, he was focused on his responsibilities as the General Secretary of the Carrom Association.
"At that time, the association was still in its early stages, and I decided to dedicate my attention to that role," he explained.
"However, with the Carrom Association now running effectively and achieving success, I believe it's time for a new challenge. Revival Sports offers the perfect platform, and I see it as an opportunity to serve another sport, particularly badminton, which is one of the best teams here."
Raushaan emphasized his commitment to working in a professional manner, in line with Revival’s values, and his goal to help the club grow sustainably while achieving success on the international stage.
