Male' Maldives: Revival Sports's promising badminton player, Hassan Zayan set to train in Odisha, India, for next year's competitions.
Revival Sports', Zayan, will be heading to Odisha for a two-month training stint as part of his preparations for the upcoming 2025 tournaments. Zayan, who joined Revival eight months ago, will be training full-time at the Holy Child Badminton Academy in Odisha.
Since signing a four-year contract with Revival Sports, Zayan has shown significant improvement.
Last July, he secured his first international win at the Mauritius International, where he also reached the doubles quarterfinals alongside Zayan Zaki.
Building on his experience from Mauritius, Zayan made further strides at the Uganda tournament in September, winning three matches in the qualification phase and advancing to the main draw—a notable milestone in his career.
Revival Sports believes the training opportunity in Odisha will be a key factor in boosting Zayan's confidence and ensuring he remains in peak form ahead of next year’s competitions.
