An investigation is underway by the Marine Police after speedboats raced to enter the jetty of Alif Alif Thoddoo island.
A video circulating on social media shows Nasr Speed, Relax Gold and Ramzu Queen boats speeding near an island.
The social media user who posted the video alleged the three boats of travelling at high speeds and said the captains did not care about the lives of the passengers.
The social media user also called for action to be taken against those who drive speedboats recklessly and urged the authorities to confiscate their licenses.
