A woman has been found dead with injuries inside a house in Noonu Holhudhoo island today.
Police received the report early this morning and took the body to the island's health centre where she was pronounced dead.
Adhadhu learned that the deceased was identified as Zakiyyaa Moosa, 50. She is a native of the Holhudhoo island.
Police said further investigations were underway.
