Male' Maldives (August 26) - Volleyball Association of Maldives (VAM) to decide on General Secretary Mohamed Saeed's Position Following his appointment as Managing Director of Public Service Media (PSM).
Following the resignation of Zeena Zahir, the former Managing Director of PSM, the Privatisation and Corporatization Board (PCB) appointed Saeed as the new Managing Director of the state media company.
The new MD of PSM, Saeed is a close associate of Mohamed Latheef, the president of VAM and the Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA).
Saeed was appointed as General Secretary of VAM in February this year, filling a position that had been vacant for an extended period.
VAM President, Latheef told "Adhadhu Sports" that the VAM executive committee will determine Saeed's position as the association's General Secretary.
Saeed mentioned that he has not yet decided whether he will continue as the General Secretary of the association.
Previously, Saeed served as a Permanent Secretary and Director General at the Ministry of Education. Since his appointment as VAM's General Secretary, he has been closely involved with both the management and players. Recently, he was part of the management team that traveled to Nepal for the CAVA Women's Nations League.
