Officials have discovered secret listening devices in the office of the Deputy Minister at the Islamic Ministry Ali Ahusan, Adhadhu has learnt.
Rumours circulating on social media yesterday suggested that Islamic Minister Dr. Mohamed Shaheem's room was bugged. However, Adhadhu can confirm that the discovery was made in Ahusan's room.
Adhadhu understands that unknown people had installed spying devices in Ahusan's room and attempted to listen to conversations inside the room. Two separate sources confirmed the incident to Adhadhu.
However, it is unclear who the suspects are and the police have not yet commented on the incident.
Ahusan is one of the closest aides of Islamic Minister Shaheem. He joins most meetings with the minister and accompanies him on trips.
