An eight-year-old girl who went missing from Gaaf Dhaal Fiyoari island has been found unconscious in the yard of a house.
According to Fiyoari.mv Facebook page, Mariyam Meenal Mohamed from Finivilaage went missing at 5:30 pm on Friday.
The page which posts news related to the island said the girl was found about six hours later at 11:30 pm on Friday.
"Meenal was found unconscious in the yard of a house not far from her home. However, she is now in good condition," a post on the page read.
Police said the girl was feeling cold and trembling at the time she was found. She was taken to the island health centre but is now in good condition, police said.
Police have not yet commented on the investigation.
A resident from Fiyoari told Adhadhu that the girl had been discharged from the health centre after treatment.
