A suspect has been arrested in connection with the seizure of more than a kilogram of drugs by Customs.
According to the authority, the initial investigation revealed that the package weighed 1.132 kg.
The operation was conducted following suspicions that a package brought to Maldives through post contained drugs.
A 20-year-old Maldivian man was arrested when he came to Customs to collect the package.
