Feydhoo MP Nihad attacked in Addu

Feydhoo MP Mohamed Nihad has been attacked in Addu city.

Mayor Ali Nizar confirmed to Adhadhu that Nihad sustained injuries in the attack. But details have not yet emerged.

Nizar said the motive and the group responsible for the attack is unclear.

Nihad is currently in Feydhoo as voting is underway in the runoff round of the presidential election.
