Chief Justice Ahmed Muthasim Adnan today said that the justice service is being provided to the people with sincerity.
Speaking at the launch of a campaign to create public awareness on services provided by the courts, Muthasim said he recently researched documents of decisions taken by judges.
Last week, the Chief Justice visited the courts of several islands in the north and south and spent time looking through reports on the proceedings.
“The most striking thing was that when someone was brought to the judge, he spoke very truthfully. These documents provide details of how judges resolved issues in the country many years ago," he said.
He added that judges in the present day were also working as hard to deliver justice.
“Even now, we are working to establish justice. We are doing this as a service, very sincerely,” Muthasim stressed.
The awareness campaign was launched by the American Bar Association and the Department of Judicial Administration.
Muthasim said the campaign is significant to find ways to make convenient arrangements for those seeking services from the courts.
