Heavy rainfall has caused damages to 13 homes on 13 islands across the country.
The emergency operations manager at the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) told Adhadhu that assistance is being provided through island councils.
Islands that faced varying degrees of damages include Baa Maalhos, Lhaviyani Naifaru, Haa Alif Ihavandhoo, Shaviyani Funadhoo, Shaviyani Feevah, Shaviyani Komandoo, Haa Dhaal Kulhudhuffushi, Kaafu Maafushi, Kaafu Thulusdhoo, Kaafu Dhiffushi, Kaafu Huraa, Faafu Feeali and Alif Alif Feridhoo.
Three houses in Baa Maalhos were flooded and the water was pumped out whilst walls collapsed from two houses and the roof was blown off from one house in Lhaviyani Naifaru.

A hut at the harbor of Shaviyani Funadhoo was damaged by the wind and the roof was blown off a house in Feevah. Komandoo in the same atoll was flooded after heavy rainfall and one house was damaged by floodwaters.
The residents of a house in Haa Alif Ihavandhoo suffered minor injuries after the roof was blown off and the wall collapsed in one house on the island, according to the Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF). Three sheets of tin were blown off the roof of a house in Kaafu Huraa whilst coconut palms and trees fell in Maafushi, Dhiffushi and Thulusdhoo.
As dangerous incidents have also occurred at sea due to rough seas, the Met office urged the public to exercise caution.
