Court postpones closing statements in Yameen’s trial
The Criminal Court has postponed closing statements in former President Abdulla Yameen’s money laundering and bribery trial regarding the Fuggiri case until October 8. The delay follows a request from state prosecutors on medical leave. Yameen is still due in court on September 29 for pretrial motions related to the Aarah case retrial.
