Police arrested two suspects with more than three kilograms of drugs in a raid on a house in Henveiru district of Male' on Monday (January 5).

The arrests were made in a joint operation conducted by the police Drug Enforcement and Counter Narcotics Intelligence.

The suspects were 27-year-old Shain Ali and 20-year-old Aishath Masha Ahmed. Their remand was extended by five days.

Police did not provide additional details, but said the investigation was ongoing. This has been the biggest drug bust so far this year.
