A Saudi Arabian business delegation paid a courtesy call on President Mohamed Muizzu on Wednesday.

According to the President's Office, the delegation was led by Saudi Deputy Minister for International Relations at the Ministry of Investment, Sara Al Sayed.

"The delegation’s presence in Male' is a significant step towards strengthening economic ties and exploring new, promising avenues of partnership between the two countries," the President's Office said.

Discussions were held on deepening cooperation across several key sectors, including investment, private-sector development, economic growth, agriculture, fisheries, artificial intelligence, information technology, and tourism.

Muizzu met Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud during his visit to the Kingdom earlier this year.
