President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has conferred the Order of the Dignified Rule of Muleege Dynasty (O.D.R.M.D) to the Chief Executive of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Murshid.

He was presented with the laurels at an official ceremony held at the President's office this morning.

Muizzu made the decision to honour Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Murshid in recognition of his extensive efforts to advance the generous assistance and support extended by the SFD towards the welfare and progress of the people of Maldives.

After the ceremony, Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Murshid paid a courtesy call on Muizzu.

Muizzu conveyed his gratitude to Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Murshid for accepting the Order of the Dignified Rule of Muleege Dynasty.

He also highlighted that the support from SFD has been instrumental in the advancement of several key national projects, including the expansion of Velana International Airport (VIA) and developments in the health and housing sectors.

The Order of the Dignified Rule of the Muleege Dynasty commemorates the rule of Al-Sultan Muhammed Shamsuddin.
