A vehicle from the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) overturned on the highway between Male' and Hulhumale' on Tuesday morning.

According to the MNDF, the car was traveling to the MNDF headquarters in Hulhumale' when the incident occurred.

MNDF reported that the car overturned because the highway was slipper due to rain. It did not hit any other vehicle and no injuries were reported.

Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
