Dhiraagu has opened applications for its Apprenticeship Program 2027. This initiative, conducted under the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) pillar of youth empowerment, holds the distinction of being the first large-scale corporate apprenticeship program introduced in the Maldives.
The objective of the program is to familiarise youth with the professional working environment. Participants will receive diverse training and gain hands-on experience across various departments. The program offers paid work experience and training in fields including Analytics & Business Intelligence, Brand & Marketing Communications, Cloud & IT Services, Corporate Services, Cyber Security, Financial Accounting, Human Resources, Revenue Assurance & Business Control, Sales, and Stores & Procurement.
Participants will have the opportunity to earn an income while gaining practical experience and training in administration, marketing, sales, procurement, corporate services, finance, human resources, and technology.
The Dhiraagu Apprenticeship Program is targeted at Maldivian youth between the ages of 18 and 30. It is open to all young individuals who have completed their A-Levels and are not currently in full-time employment. In addition to Male’, the program will be conducted at Dhiraagu’s regional operation centres in Kulhudhuffushi City, Baa Eydhafushi, and Laamu Atoll.
All participants will receive specialised training from Dhiraagu’s experienced staff to develop essential professional qualities, including soft skills, time management, and project management.

Since its inception in 2009, 312 young people have participated in the Dhiraagu Apprenticeship Program. Many program alumni have gone on to build successful careers at Dhiraagu and in other prominent organisations across the Maldives.
Through this apprenticeship program, Dhiraagu continues to empower youth and build future leaders by providing professional development and training under the guidance of a highly capable management team.
