Villa College concludes convocations 2026.

Villa College has introduced four new programs and opened applications for enrollment, aiming to develop skilled professionals essential for national development and to expand opportunities for higher education within the Maldives.

The newly launched programs include a three-year Bachelor of Teaching in Business and Travel and Tourism, designed to produce high-quality teachers for business and tourism subjects in schools, and a one-year Master of Engineering Management, which aims to equip engineers with technical expertise alongside project management and leadership skills. Additionally, the college introduced two-year programs for a Master of Science in Health Psychology and a Master of Science in Forensic Psychology to meet the demand for specialised psychologists in the healthcare, legal, and investigative sectors.

Dr Ali Najeeb, Vice Rector of Villa College, said that all these programs are designed to bridge theory and practical experience through classroom learning, ensuring students are fully prepared for the professional workforce.

To achieve this, each course incorporates practical components such as practicums, field visits, and capstone projects. The deadline to apply for these programs for the January 2027 intake is December 26, 2026. Admission requirements and further information are available on the Villa College website, by calling 3303200, or via the college’s official email.
