A court has ordered the 15-day remand of several film stars arrested during a police drug operation conducted on Thursday.

The actors arrested in connection with the case are Ahmed Azmeel (Azay), 44, Ismail Jumaih, 35, and Mohamed Vishaal (Roman), 29. Additionally, 42-year-old Shahil Mohamed was also taken into custody.

All suspects tested positive for drugs, specifically two types of synthetic substances related to methamphetamine. Reports indicate that the quantity of drugs seized from them was sufficient to meet the threshold for drug trafficking charges.

According to the court order, when police entered the room where the suspects were located, illicit substances were found in plain view on a table.

Among those arrested, Azmeel and Jumaih were previously married to two actresses from the same family. Azmeel is a long-standing figure in the film industry, while Roman is the most recent to begin his acting career.
