President Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha Mohamed returned to the Maldives last night following an unofficial visit to Singapore.

While the President's Office has not disclosed details regarding the trip, the first couple departed for Singapore last Monday.

This marks Muizzu's eighth visit to Singapore since assuming office, consisting of seven unofficial trips and one official state visit.

Singapore has been the President's most frequent destination for unofficial travel since taking his oath of office. Additionally, he has made several unofficial visits to the United Kingdom during this period.
