The Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) has announced a grand prize of MVR 25,000 for a lucky winner selected from among the visitors to the upcoming Maldives Financial Expo.

The expo, which features participation from various institutions across the Maldivian financial sector, offers visitors the chance to win several other prizes in addition to the MVR 25,000 grand prize.

According to information shared by the MMA on social media, this year’s expo aims to provide the public with essential financial sector information while offering valuable rewards to attendees. Numerous prizes are scheduled to be distributed through lucky draws held on each day of the event.

The prizes include technological devices, cash rewards, and holiday packages. Five iPads will be given away to lucky winners every day. Additionally, two MacBook Airs and two pairs of Apple AirPods are also up for grabs.

To further promote financial literacy, the event will feature gift cards of various denominations. These include three MVR 5,000 gift cards, twelve MVR 1,000 gift cards, and thirty MVR 500 gift cards. Furthermore, seven special commemorative MVR 5,000 notes will be issued daily.

One of the most exclusive prizes at the expo is a three-night full-board holiday package for two at the Araaik Beach Village in Hoarafushi. The MMA stated that these incentives are designed to foster greater public interest in the financial sector.

The Maldives Financial Expo is scheduled to take place from July 2 to July 4 at Hulhumale' Central Park. As the largest financial sector event in the country, it serves as a one-stop platform for the public to access information from banks, insurance companies, and various other financial institutions.

The MMA has invited as many people as possible to visit the expo to gain financial insights and take advantage of the opportunity to win these valuable prizes.
