A 16-year-old boy is receiving medical treatment after falling from the second floor of a flat in Hulhumale' Phase 2.

According to the police, the incident occurred at the "Amaan Dhoadhi 5" apartment complex in Hulhumale' Phase 2.

Authorities received the report of a minor falling from the second floor of the building at approximately 11:14 pm last night.

"The child was taken to Hulhumale' Hospital and is currently undergoing treatment," the police stated.

Police have not yet disclosed the cause of the incident or provided details regarding the extent of the boy's injuries.

The authorities confirmed that the matter is under further investigation.
