Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) has commenced its ATM services in Laamu Kalaidhoo.
The new ATM service in Kalaidhoo was inaugurated by the Isdhoo MP Ismail Shafeeu, MIB’s Head of Distribution Ibrahim Shuhail, and the Kalaidhoo Council President Ahmed Shiyam.
MIB said that this initiative is a significant part of its ongoing efforts to expand services across the Maldives. The bank noted that the new ATM will provide convenient Maldivian Rufiyaa deposit and withdrawal services for businesses and residents of Isdhoo-Kalaidhoo, which hosts a large population within Laamu Atoll.
Highlighting that the ATM service is designed to simplify banking and support the growing financial needs of the local community, MIB emphasized its commitment to expanding its ATM and self-service banking network nationwide to broaden access to financial services.
Customers can now open accounts without visiting a physical branch and conduct financial transactions from anywhere via mobile and internet banking. MIB continues to introduce innovative services and further expand its reach across the country.
